Show and Tell
I recorded this meditation in two parts because I am very aware that we all don’t have 20 minutes spare per day to meditate.
Life takes over for us all at times, but most of us can find 10 minutes to slot a small slice of peace in to our day.
Part one is clearing the debris, letting go of the all consuming thoughts in preparation to enter stage two.
Which is looking out into your world through crystal clear lenses, nothing blocking or tainting your view.
So then being able to see every tiny little thing you have to be grateful for.
Gratitude spreads peace and calm content into your whole being, the absolute opposite of want.
Feelings of lack, implode in your body creating huge holes that your mind and body believe must be filled immediately.
Lack is also highly contagious, I can feel it pulling at my soul especially at the Trafford Centre Shopping Complex where “need, want and must haves” are spreading.
I’m trying to be aware of my holes so to speak, for mine expand into vastness if I’m not careful.
Especially when there’s a change in the dynamics of our home, big kids moving out, little ones back to school etc.
Then I’m really good at filling those gaps with shopping and food!
Filling my cupboards and shelves with stuff.
But I am trying, by being aware of this and knowing that these gap fillers are only temporary.
The true long lasting method is gratitude.
Sitting for a moment with your holes and gaps, feeling the emptiness, then seeing what you do have.
Being truly grateful for the tiny bursts of wonder that do happen all throughout your day.
Only yesterday we were flooded from the torrential downpour, filling our cellar and all the rooms in it with rain and sewage over flow!
Not too much to be grateful for there, but even amidst all that upset and stink, light still shone through.
For me, my husband and youngest daughter worked like a dream team, quietly bucketing out all the water and mopping the floors to a brilliant shine, yes it was annoying but it was also all cleared and removed thankfully in a couple of hours bar the aroma!
Maya even said it was weirdly satisfying to see the floors becoming clean and shiny once again.
We can all find glimmers of gratitude, allow yourself to look.
The crystal I recommend to use and hold during this meditation is Rutilated Quartz or sometimes known as Angel Hair Quartz.
A magnificent crystal which actually has needles of metal running all through it, where the quartz has grown around.
These metals are usually made up of copper or silver and so act as great conductors of the crystalline energy.
Making this crystal an absolute power house of energy and light, perfect for blasting away the debris and letting us see the truth and light.

I hope that you enjoy this meditation.
