Show and Tell

I wanted to share with you this week advice on how to meditate, as I know many of you struggle with being able to “see” things on your journeys.
My clients often ask me “what is the difference between imagination and visualisation?” when trying to meditate.

Well my thoughts are that you start off with imagining thoughts and pictures in your head, just like you would when you’re reading a great book that you just can’t put down,
Then with no restrictions, no fear, just trust, your  thought forms begin to blend and fall into your physical self, becoming more real until you can actually begin to feel what you’re thinking.
You are now fully visualising the story, taking the reins and guiding your own mind on a journey.
Thats the difference.

For example, your are being guided to walk down a country path,
Your mind is going along with the story, but your body and soul are just not feeling it yet
Now ” yet ” is the key word here, stay with it, allow yourself the time to listen carefully to the descriptive detail, breathe, then you will start to feel the journey in your body and deeper still as it drops into your soul.
For now you are on this journey for all of your senses are telling you so, your brain realises theres no danger here, you are safe, you’re feeling good which in turn enhances the physical sensations and massive benefits you get from meditation.

Just what are these benefits ?

You’ve probably read many articles about this, and the list is extensive
For example :

Calming the thoughts
Relieving anxiety
Lowering blood pressure

To name but a few,
I find its so hard to retain lots of information regarding these benefits.
So personally for me, Meditation is my daily check in, time for me to put aside the pesky demanding thoughts and have a chat or just a hug with my higher self.
It makes me feel lighter, grounded and safe.
Meditation gives me the platform to realise my dreams and put aside my fears.

Have a go, you have absolutely nothing to loose, apart from your mind!!
I promise you thats no bad thing.

Let’s change it to “Matter over Mind”

Be empowered by great energy and love instead of thoughts,  which are usually ruled by fear.

We can put our minds to anything,
But if you settle and ground those dreams, instead of letting them float around your head always out of grasp,
That’s  when you  Truly Manifest Your Dreams Into Reality .

Which allows us to act like a tree, firmly planted in the earth with great stature.
