Meditation 365 Challenge – day 18 of my challenge to meditate every day for a whole year and write / blog about my experiences

Day 18…..

“If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.” is a quote from Mother Theresa

So the Wolf Super Moon and lunar eclipse is upon us,

It’s actually called the Wolf Moon because wolves howl the most in January.

Probably because the wolves know how important it is to stay with your pack for survival and self care.

They will instinctively know the importance of being connected. Especially in January, when the nights are long, cold and dark.

As humans we are so similar. We all need to feel connected to someone.

Maybe more so today as it’s Blue Monday, one of the most depressing days of the year apparently.

Today we should use the powers of the Full Super Wolf Moon to light up our darkness.

Release that power into the open and reach out to someone, anyone today.

We could even do our version of howling at the moon, but in a human way.

  • Sing out as loud as you can to your favourite song
  • Pour out your sadness into the pages of a journal

* Reach out to someone and tell them how you really feel today

Or you can just howl!

During my meditation today my whole body was vibrating.

I was sitting with my fully charged crystals from yesterday’s expedition but I also knew this was the power of the Super moon too.

Many people don’t understand how the moon affects us.

Our marvellous moon controls the tides of our great oceans so it’s going move us in some way too.

After all, we are on average 60% water.

We are not all called Lunatics by coincidence!

Try and get out and absorb this wonder, or at the very least place your crystals outside to re charge under this magical winter moonlight.
