Meditation 365 Challenge – Day 6 of my meditation challenge blog

Those pesky, nosey Cockers 🐶

This mornings meditation was a struggle I must admit. My two cocker spaniels decided to be even more raucous than ever, bouncing off the walls and barking at every tiny noise.

Calming them down was not an option; they were just being outrageous!

I also woke with a headache which is just not me usually. To top it all off, my phone was pinging away demanding attention too.

Now I could’ve just carried on with my morning, without meditating and I seriously considered this but I know how that story ends.

If your day starts out by being knocked out of alignment then it doesn’t miraculously slot back in!

No it just tends to become more and more disjointed, wreaking havoc and attracting chaos.

So I sat there, amidst the barking, the pings and my whirling, frustrated mind.

I sat and breathed……

Amazingly, Stan and Bernard instantly calmed, mirroring my mind and I felt such a relief and a small sense of accomplishment.

The more I sat, the deeper I fell.

I wish I could put into words how wonderful that felt and actually, still does. I kept drawing upon the powers of the crystals in my hand. Feeling their energy surge and plough deep into my body, reconnecting me to my authentic self and source.

I kept hearing over and over, …

Open your heart, release and fly for this is all that matters.

Which is entirely true, love and a reconnection to your true self is all we need, everything else is just stuff.

So today at least I’m going to try my hardest not to sweat about it.

Dar 6 of my meditation challenge and life is good!
