Meditation 365 Challenge – Day 9

It’s day 9 of my challenge to meditate every day for a whole year and write / blog about my experience

Discombobulated!!!

That’s a word that I absolutely love but don’t much like what it means.

One of my beautiful clients reminded me of this word when I was explaining to her that we’re about to embark on an extension in our house and yes, today that’s my word of choice as I feel very discombobulated.

The building work and demolition doesn’t even start until Monday and chaos has reigned over our home.

Just as I take a moment from packing away and sorting stuff to write these words, the dogs seem to think it’s crazy time. They’re probably picking up on the disorder all around.

But amongst all of this, I grabbed at my stabilisers (Smokey Quartz and the Master Clear Quartz) and still sat on my cushion and meditated.

I was really looking forward to doing it, longing for the peace and calm in my body and mind whilst mayhem and disorder surrounds me.

And in actual fact the chaos and crazy untidiness washed over me as I felt order, clarity and calm inside.

The dogs even calmed down, now that’s a result. Meditation is certainly working for them too.
