Meditation 365 Challenge – Day 6 of my meditation challenge blog Those pesky, nosey Cockers ?  This mornings meditation was a struggle I must admit. Meditation 365 Challenge Day 5

Meditation 365 Challenge – Day 5 of my meditation challenge blog I lay wide awake in my bed this morning at 3.05 am. Not the best start to the day but considering I’d gone to bed around 8.30pm, not a disaster either. I’d planned to watch Harry Potter but promptly fell asleep after half an […]

Meditation 365 Challenge Day 4

Meditation 365 Challenge – Day 4 of my Crystal Meditation Blog I knew today’s meditation would be different, as it feels like all I’ve done over the last few days is clearance. Possibly because that’s all my physical body could do at first. No deep and meaningful meditations for me just yet. That’s what happens […]

Meditation 365 Challenge Day 3

My Meditation 365 Challenge Day 3 … Sunday chillin’, or rather it should be!  I felt huge anxiety this morning as I stupidly decided to treat myself (treat indeed!!) to a full caffeinated cup of Yorkshire Tea. To top it all off, I also had a couple of glasses of wine last night, which for […]

Back to basics

What the hell is Meditation anyway?

Hi everyone I do hope that you are all great and enjoying this amazing sizzling sunshine.

I really wanted to write to you today about meditation as so many of my clients, students and myself get very confused about what it actually is and most importantly are we doing it right?

Well you know what I have been “meditating” for over 20 years and I’m quite sure that I’m still not doing it right in some peoples eyes. But what I do know is that I wouldn’t be able to do my job or feel as grounded and connected  as I do if I didn’t park my backside down every morning holding crystals and plugging myself back in.

The word  “meditation” can conjure up so many images and almost pigeon hole you into how others believe you should look or behave. Like some form of cult that you do or don’t want to be part of.

Making many of us feel intimidated and “I’m not in that gang” kind of feelings going on.

It’s such a shame for we all can absolutely do it, we can wear what ever we choose and tap into it whenever or however we please. Tie dye not essential! 😉

Use The Force !

Hello to all you wonderful readers, I hope that you had the best weekend.

Ours was full of garden party family fun to celebrate the Royal Wedding and just love and awesomeness in general.

Today I wanted to give us all a little reminder about how to use the force of crystals everyday, for I know that I’m feeling a little tired and delicate after the excess fun this weekend so as always I will go to my Crystal Saviours.

Do one thing today that scares you!

Who knows where this might lead to?

Over the Easter break a client and friend of mine invited me to join her at a networking breakfast club.

It was all easily organised thanks to Tracey and was very close to where I live, so all in all not too scary right?

Wrong, for I was really nervous even though I was all prepared and had huge crystal buddies with me, I could still feel anxiety rising. I have given talks and demos to universities and in a Monastery to over a 100 eager people yet this still got to me.

Why? After the breakfast meeting I took my fur babies out for our usual connection, download of nature and catch up on the latest gossip through sniffs. This allowed the built up emotion to unravel and reveal.

The Power of a Strong Woman and Girls who Lift!

Hello to all you beautiful people, I truly hope that you are enjoying some Spring sunshine. I don’t know about you guys but I feel totally topped up, recharged and ready to roll after just a few hours in our garden tidying on Sunday. Isn’t it amazing how the suns rays can break through our grey thick cast of winter and allow our true colours to emerge.

I have felt compelled to share with you this week all the wonders I have seen with my work and family at how amazing and powerful women are. Now I know that I am coming from a totally biased perspective but even still my clients and just generally strong women have blown me away recently.

It started first with Maya moo my youngest who’s not yet 16, she has for a while now wanted to come to the gym I go to 5S, but hated to her core being with others in a conditioning class let alone sweating!

The ultimate snow day

As you may all know our beautiful country has been attacked from the beast from the East, and what a relentless beast this is.
This is now our second snow day in this household and still the wind doth blow.
These rare yet wonderful free days force you to stop for a while, and I regularly found myself looking out from our warm secure home at the pure blank canvas outside.
